The Avengers Vs Hunger Games - This Weekend's Box Office

The Avengers looks to be a huge movie this weekend, but can it beat The Hunger Games? It won't at midnight. We only have hours left to go and The Avengers sold out 1,850 showings nationwide according to Fandango and MovieTickets.com. The Hunger Games sold out 4,300 screenings.

So far, The Hunger Games is the top opening movie this year and the third biggest opener ever. The Avengers looks to make $150 million.
