If you saw the movie, you probably noticed that it made it seem like Cato and Glimmer were a couple. Personally, I think that these two wouldn't be a very good couple. For the screen, yes, they would be a cute couple. However, I don't think they would like each other. Cato is a fierce competitor that has a lot of skill in the arena. Glimmer is the pretty girl that uses her looks to get by with the sponsors.
Glimmer and Cato are from different districts. How would they meet before the arena? They would only have time to meet during training and maybe before the interviews. I don't think they would have a lot of time to connect, unlike Clove.
Maybe Cato does like Clove more, but they get in a fight, so he gets with Glimmer for revenge. Glimmer goes with it because she doesn't suspect anything.
