This new book was released today and I bought it on the Kindle. The new book was so awesome! It provides a step by step guide to the tributes' journey to the arena. It starts with what each of the districts provide as well as the famous speech given before the reapings about the Dark Days. It starts with the reapings and provides new pictures of the reaping in 12. I love how they refer to Gale as the handsome, dark haired boy that took away Prim! Plus, it informs about a new piece of information, that each of the children must get their blood taken in order to go into the reaping square. Then, you can see the ID cards for every tribute. I wish that they would give all the tributes a name, because the cards just say Tribute Boy or Tribute Girl, unless their name is mentioned in the book. Plus, they actually call Foxface, Foxface! She has a real name!
Anyway, it goes through the prep time with their stylists, the chariot rides, training, and the interviews. Their are new pictures everywhere and they are gorgeous! Clove and Cato are also seen more as well as Glimmer, Marvel, Rue, and Peeta. They describe the interviews. Clove is sarcastic and Cato is cocky. They also tell about the scores and stop with a picture of Katniss in the tube ready to be thrown in the arena. I so felt her emotion seeing that picture! My heart was beating so fast -- I can't wait for this movie!
I would suggest this book to anyone even if you haven't read the books. It provides new information and reinforces the information in the book. Plus, the pictures make you even more excited... if that's possible!
