Josh Hutcherson with Moviemazz

Josh recently was interviewed by Moviemazz. They asked for fans to ask questions for Josh to answer and here they are:

On preparing for The Hunger Games fandom:“It’s hard. I don’t know if anyone can prepare for that kind of thing. I’ve never been part of a project that had so much anticipation surrounding it before we even started filming. It brings added pressure, but at the same time it makes you strive to work better and harder. I think we’ve done a really good job on the film and I hope people like it, especially the fans. In fact, I know they will.”

On reality television and its effect on society: “I’m not a huge fan. I don’t watch a lot of TV in general and especially not the reality stuff. It’s interesting how people push themselves to the limit to get in front of the cameras. The idea they would push themselves to battle each other in a similar arena isn’t that much of a stretch.”

On stunt work and weapons training: “In the beginning Peeta has a spear, but I get injured pretty early on so I don’t have to do too much of that.”

On being on board The Hunger Games sequels: “For sure, as long as people come out and see the movie. I’m very excited about it. We need to make sure that people see the movie first before we get ahead of ourselves. But I’m really excited about it and where the story goes, especially for my character.”

New Still of the Chariot Outfits

Entertainment Weekly posted this new still of Katniss & Peeta in their chariot outfits and Cinna. They also posted this with it: “This is one of those moments where Cinna’s character syncs up with the creativity of our costume designer Judianna Makovsky,” says Ross. (Makovsky earned Oscar nominations for her work on Ross’ previous movies Pleasantville and Seabiscuit.) “What Cinna was trying to do was create something that came out of District 12, out of a coal mining world, with a fresh, bold look to it. So Judianna went to this wonderful black reflective material that glistened like coal or graphite and would obviously work well in the Tribute parade where Katniss becomes the Girl on Fire.”

What do think of the costumes? I love them!
holding the blowtorch. I can just see him about to light them on fire."

Josh Hutcherson Interviews

This a part of a recent interview.

With the Australian Press in an interview to promote Journey 2: "Josh, people have your upcoming film The Hunger Games, based on Suzanne Collins’ novel, pegged as the next Twilight-style phenomenon. Did it feel like a big deal on set?" His response: "Honestly, the build-up to that was the biggest thing. I’ve never connected with a character more in my life and felt like I had to act less. It was kind of weird. Like, ‘Suzanne Collins, how did you know me? How do you know what I stand for? This is crazy!"

Tribute Thursdays: Foxface

Name: Unknown
Nickname: Foxface
Age: 12-18 (I think 15-17)
Occupation: Tribute
Home: District 5 (power)
Weapon: Stealth, knife
Portrayed by: Jackie Emerson
Description: fire red hair, amber eyes, short, foxlike features

Hunger Games: Foxface never speaks. Her goal is to survive. She runs in and out of traps to get what she needs without interacting with anyone. She outsmarted everyone. Katniss thinks that Foxface would be the smartest at a written test and that if she allied herself with Foxface, she would get a knife in her back. She probably didn't go to the bloodbath. She helps Katniss figure out how to destroy the Career's food supply.

That's all I'm going to tell you. If you want to know more, read the books!
