Do you mind explaining to our readers, how you … got your role in The Hunger Games?Mackenzie – Okay I had read all the books, so I was a total Hunger Games fanatic. My family is with the talent agency, so I got to audition for it and a few weeks later I heard back that I got it. My reaction was insane, I should have been filmed; I looked ridiculous.
The Hunger Games is directed by reputable director and writer Gary Ross (Seabiscuit/Lassie/Big), what was he like to work alongside?Mackenzie – He is, so, fantastic. Suzanne Collins has to be absolutely thrilled because he just pictures the movie exactly how she would have wanted it.
Annie – If the scene didn’t live up to what it was like in the book, he’d re-tape it until it was. He was so exact.
