A 72 acre portion of District 12 is now on sale for $1.4 million. This is the place where they filmed the parts of the movie in Hildebran, North Carolina. The land was put on sale by Wade Shepard who has been bombarded with people visiting the site."I'm getting too many visitors ... Day and night, they're driving through, taking pictures, getting out and walking," he told The Associated Press."The area is private property and security guards do surround the area to try and keep back tourists eager to see the home of Katniss, Peeta, and Gale.
